Technology That Actually Makes Sense

We work with small teams who feel overwhelmed by rapid change, helping them understand what’s possible and put simple, effective systems in place.

Our Story

Where We Started

Methos began with a simple observation: many businesses were investing in systems that were too complex, poorly understood, or never fully used.

Craig had spent years working with CRM and business systems across a range of platforms. He saw the same pattern repeat: tools that promised efficiency but often created more confusion.

A big part of the problem wasn’t just the systems themselves, but how they were delivered. Businesses were often handed from person to person, each with a different role, a different understanding, and no clear sense of ownership.

There was a clear gap between what businesses actually needed and what they were being given.

Methos was created to close that gap, starting with how the business really works and building systems to support it.

Who We Are Now

Today, Methos is built around a simpler, more hands-on way of working.

We help small teams simplify their systems and get real value from technology. We combine hands-on CRM, automation, and AI implementation with clear, practical guidance, so you don’t just get new systems, you know how to use them.

By keeping things small and consistent, we maintain a clear understanding of what each client actually needs, focusing on what works best rather than pushing a specific tool.

Where We're Going

As technology continues to evolve, especially with the rapid growth of AI, our focus remains the same: keeping things simple, practical, and accessible.

At the same time, Methos is becoming more education-led. We’re expanding our use of webinars and guided support to help small business owners understand what’s possible before making changes, so they feel confident rather than overwhelmed.

The aim is not just to put the right tools in place, but to help businesses make better decisions about technology and adapt as they grow.

Our Philosophy

Technology should serve people, not the other way around. We believe the best systems are the ones your team actually understands and uses every day.

That’s why we focus on clear processes, practical tools, and plain language. No buzzwords. No over-engineering. Just thoughtful design that supports how your business really works.

Consultant

Martin joined Methos in 2015 and has been helping things run smoothly behind the scenes ever since. He focuses on making sense of complex requirements and shaping systems that are both effective and well thought through.

With a background in counselling and psychology, Martin brings a considered approach to his work, taking the time to understand both the systems and the people using them.

While he may not always be front and centre, his contribution is felt across many projects. Outside of work, his interests are just as hands-on, from tending his garden to creating detailed steampunk-inspired cosplay.

As Martin puts it, he enjoys “untangling complex problems and building systems that are not only effective but thoughtfully crafted”, a mindset that carries through everything he does.

Craig White

Founder and Consultant

Craig founded Methos Consulting and has spent nearly two decades helping organisations untangle their systems and make them work. From CRM and finance platforms to wider digital infrastructure, he specialises in turning complex requirements into clear, practical solutions.

While much of his recent work has focused on Microsoft technologies, his background also includes platforms like ACT! and Goldmine. This gives him a healthy scepticism of one-size-fits-all solutions and a preference for choosing the right tool for the job.

He takes a hands-on, collaborative approach and is as comfortable working with stakeholders as he is working through the detail of a system build.

Outside of work, Craig swaps processes for landscapes as a keen nature photographer, often combining it with long walks and hikes, occasionally returning with the perfect shot but always with muddy boots.
